Assisted Living Dementia Services
Older adults with mild to moderate dementia need assistance in order to be safe and maximize their abilities. Assistance comes in the form of a helping hand
with daily activities such as taking medication, bathing, dressing and toileting. Residents benefit from specially created social and recreational events that
are designed to help them feel successful; maintain their physical abilities; spark memories; and participate in conversations that connect them with others.
Clark on Franklin
Arborview is a newly renovated, secure area in the main building at Clark on Franklin. All rooms are private with private baths.
Residents enjoy being pampered in the luxurious Garden Bathe where soft lights, music, aroma therapy and heated floors create a spa-like
atmosphere. Bathing options include a walk-in shower or a specially designed, step-in whirlpool tub with safety features. Heated towels provide a warm and
relaxing conclusion to the experience.
Visiting someone with dementia can be difficult. Support groups and educational programs help loved ones maximize evolving relationships.
There are also several “destinations” within Arborview. The Café has a cheery décor and full kitchen. It’s a great place for a cup of coffee and a chat. The
private, formal dining room is available for special celebrations. The Sun Room has numerous windows and an electric fireplace, while the Family Room features
a large screen television and It’s Never 2 Late.
Monthly fees include assistance with activities of daily living, three daily meals, snacks, daily bathroom cleaning and trash removal,
weekly laundry, monthly comprehensive housecleaning, satellite television and all utilities except telephone.

Clark on Keller Lake
Oxford East is home for residents with mild to moderate dementia, while Oxford West is a secure area for residents whose dementia is more
progressed. Life is structured to be engaging yet relaxed. A sense of normalcy is created when residents are asked to participate in everyday activities like
sweeping the deck, snapping beans, setting the table or folding laundry. These simple tasks provide opportunities for success and create feelings of belonging.
Perched at the edge of Keller Lake, Oxford Manor has a beautiful deck over looking the water. The East and West households have accommodations
for 20 residents each. All accommodations are private with private baths and are furnished with a twin bed and nightstand, chest of drawers, small round table with
two dining chairs; an occasional chair, a floor lamp and a table lamp. If residents prefer, they are welcome to bring their own furniture and accessories.
Each household has its own living room and dining room. Meals are prepared in a shared kitchen. The smells of homemade soup and freshly baked
desserts drift out of the kitchen and are not only reminiscent of earlier life, but they also help stimulate appetites.
A hair salon, recreation room, and nature trails are added features. The small size of the Oxford households creates a warm atmosphere which
is accented by the beautiful views of nature. Residents enjoy being in a natural setting watching the water fowl and other wildlife, monitoring the arrival of
the daffodils in the spring, and venturing on the nature trails in The Club Car – the Keller Lake golf cart.
A physician visits weekly to provide routine medical care for those residents who choose to join that practice. There are also regular visits
by a podiatrist and psychologist. Skilled nursing services are available at Clark on Franklin if needed to recover from an accident or illness. As always, The
Clark Commitment ensures a secure future.
Monthly fees include assistance with activities of daily living, three daily meals, snacks, daily bathroom cleaning and trash removal, fresh
towels daily, weekly laundry and comprehensive housecleaning, as well as all utilities except telephone and cable TV.
