Keller Lake Construction Update: February 2021

In just a few short months, residents will be moving into their brand new Keller Lake Apartment Homes. Construction crews have continued to work throughout the winter and the progress is quite remarkable as the new community is quickly coming to life!

Here are highlights of our construction progress:

• Winter has officially arrived which naturally slows production down on interior work. Lucky for us though the majority of the work is currently taking place inside and is showing no signs of slowing down!
• In building three we are well underway with finishes. 90% of drywall throughout the building has been completed and interior finishes are being installed inside every resident suite. The flooring, tile, and cabinets have really started to give the homes some personality! The gypcrete subfloor has been poured on the third floor. This serves as a great sound barrier that will limit the sound transfer between the second and third floors.
• In building one the drywall finishing has begun on the first floor. On the second and third floors, mechanical electrical, plumbing, and fire protection contractors have all but wrapped up their rough-ins, and drywall hanging is underway.
• In building two the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection contractors are continuing work on their rough-ins on all three floors.
• We’ve hit a big milestone and we were able to complete tying-in building two and building three. There is now access between the buildings without having to walk outside in the cold!
