COVID-19 Update: March 14, 2020

UPDATE: March 14, 2020 – 7:30 p.m.

We would like to thank you for all the support and kindness we have received regarding our efforts to combat the COVID-19 virus. Currently there are no cases of COVID-19 in our communities. There are a few important updates in addition to what has already been communicated.

Social Distancing

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends an All Community Approach that focuses on slowing the transmission of COVID-19 and reducing illness and death. We are implementing additional restrictions that focus on “social distancing” of 3 feet to 6 feet. It’s demonstrated that social distancing flattens the spread of COVID-19.

Visitors

We are not allowing visitors in our communities; this includes Town Home and Sherman Court residents. Only essential visits will be allowed at this time for compassion during end of life situations.

Dining

  • We are encouraging residents in skilled nursing and all assisted living areas to dine in their room.
  • The Franklin main dining room will remain open to Terrace, Sherman Street apartment and Manor residents only.
  • The Chatterbox on Franklin is open for take-out only. Hours of operation may be reduced.

Fitness Center and Pool and Group Activities

The Fitness Center and pool at Franklin are closed and all group activities cancelled.

Deliveries to Residents

We will accept non-perishable deliveries for residents between 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Deliveries can be made at Entrance 24 on the Franklin campus (adjacent to the main entrance) and at the main entrance at Windsor Manor. We ask you limit deliveries to essential items only.

Spiritual Care

Franklin residents can “attend” various services and events by tuning into Channel 15. The following services will be available:

  • Sunday church service
  • Monday Bible study
  • Wednesday rosary
  • Thursday Chapel service
  •  Friday mass
