As we navigate the ever changing dynamics of COVID-19, we continue to implement changes to ensure the safety of our residents and staff. Every decision we make is with your best interest in mind. Our Clark COVID-19 Task Force, meets twice daily to review updated information and recommendations from various agencies including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the State of Michigan, and Kent County Health Department. We use this information to guide our conversations and decisions. We know the most effective way to stop the spread of COVID-19 is social distancing. Another way to think of this is physical distancing – staying a minimum of 6 feet away from others. To that end, we are implementing additional safeguards:
Effective Monday, March 23 at 1:00 p.m. meals will no longer be served in the Franklin main dining room. The process for ordering meals is included with this update. Meals will be delivered to your home by our dedicated staff.
The Chatterbox will remain open for to-go food.
Meals for Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing residents will be served in rooms.
Effective immediately, hair and nail salons are closed as mandated by Governor Whitmer.
We understand it’s important to have places to go for a change of pace. If you choose to enter the Library or other gathering spaces please adhere to the following:
You are welcome to go for walks around the campus or neighborhood. Please check-in at the screening station when you return.
We are profoundly grateful for your patience, cooperation and grace and ask that you keep your neighbors and staff in your prayers. We all play a part in keeping Clark safe and trust you will follow these new safeguards.
We are Community.
We are Clark.
