We have great news! Construction at Keller Lake will resume on Thursday, May 7! Yesterday, Elzinga & Volkers (EV) coordinated a ZOOM meeting with our staff and subcontractors. We discussed safety and are confident in their commitment to keeping their employees and families safe. We are encouraged by the eagerness of EV and the trades to get back to work; they are ready to go!
EV is developing a revised completion timeline they expect to finalize within the next four weeks. In the meantime, crews will be prepping and de-watering the site and trade contractors will begin working from where they left off. In addition, several contractors were deemed essential to the project and were able to precast many components during the shutdown.
We recognize COVID-19 has impacted the economy. To that end we have revised our deposit timeline. The third deposit will be due on November 1, 2020 rather than at the completion of interior selections. Melissa Guigue will continue to work with depositors who have not finalized selections targeting a June 1, 2020 completion date.
