Windsor and Oxford Manor Renovations are Coming!

As the beauty of the season changes to a new color palette, so will the interiors of
Windsor and Oxford Manors! Plans are being finalized to update the main dining rooms,
social spaces, and hallways. You will soon see new dining room and living area furniture, flooring, lighting and much more!

New Limitation on Outdoor Visitors

Outdoor visits have been so wonderful for residents and families. We are sad to say we must now limit the number of visitors to two rather than four in order to comply with an executive order.

Welcome Western Michigan University

We are excited to announce a new partnership with Western Michigan University’s
Occupational Therapy program!

We will be welcoming six occupational therapy (OT) students and one faculty educator from Western Michigan University’s Grand Rapids campus. They will collaborate with residents to discuss and engage in activities to promote holistic health. The students will be present on Wednesdays from September 16 through November 2020.

The experience seeks to teach future occupational therapy practitioners about social factors influencing engagement in occupational performance. Some of the elements planned for the program include addressing barriers to engagement and community participation,
physically distanced hallway exercise, 1 to 1’s with residents, and more!

Safety during the pandemic is of utmost importance during this partnership. Students will follow the same infection control and PPE guidelines as staff.

Community engagement is essential to Clark’s mission, and brings tremendous value to the residents we serve.  Members of the Life Enrichment team will serve as program coordinators for this exciting new venture.

Calvin College Intern Joins Clark!

We are pleased to welcome Kassandra Walcott as our new Recreational Therapy intern at Keller Lake. Kassandra, a Calvin College student will be a great addition to our Life
Enrichment team!
