Clark Retirement Community is looking for a Floor Care Specialist who is patient focused and will enrich the lives of our residents, families and employees. This position will ensure environmental services are maintained at the highest level. This includes quality cleaning of resident rooms and public areas. They must maintain specific areas of the community ensuring they are sanitary, orderly and are in a presentable manner. They will help assist supervisor with scheduling, supply management, delivery of floor care, pest control, set ups, waste management and help be the liaison between staff and supervisor. We are searching for dedicated candidate who has passion to serve the elderly. This candidate must be a team player, have a positive outlook, able to problem solve and are caring and compassionate.
Essential Job Functions:
· Assigned to maintain hard floor and carpeted surfaces throughout the community
· Clean upholstered furniture with proper equipment and chemicals as requested
· Report any issues or malfunctions of equipment so resolution may occur
· Bring forth any concerns regarding materials being used
· Maintains equipment to established standards
· Maintains all chemicals needed and reports when supplies need to be replenished
· Removes or moves residents furniture when requested
· Is cross trained in all aspects of housekeeping
· Removes trash from facility as requested
· Keep work area clean and orderly and ready for next shift
Available to perform other duties within department as needed
