Clark Retirement Community is currently searching for a full-time team member to work at our beautiful campus on Franklin Street. A qualified candidate will be detail-oriented, friendly, loving and caring. Having the ability to be self-directed is a huge plus! This role is integral to maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents, to ensure that they have the best quality of life that they can achieve. If you have experience in commercial laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services, we would love to talk to you about opportunities!

This position plays a critical role in ensuring laundry services for residents are maintained at the highest level.

We offer a day shift schedule with no evenings or weekends!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collects soiled linen from various locations
  • Ensures laundry and labeling is processed to meet resident expectations
  • Folds/hangs laundry per material recommendations
  • Maintains equipment to established standards
  • Keep work area clean and orderly
  • Report any issues or malfunctions of equipment so resolution may occur
  • Notify care staff of any concerns regarding residents
  • Available to perform other duties within department as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a Long-Term Care facility, preferred
