Montessori for Aging and Dementia
Clark is the first life-plan community in the United States to adopt the Montessori for Aging and Dementia program. Our program is led by certified Montessori practitioners, who empower residents with memory loss to lead independent and purposeful lives.
Music Therapy
For people with dementia, the part of the brain for speech is different from the part processing music. This is why those who can no longer converse or have memory impairment are able to sing a song from beginning to end. Clark’s music therapy program, led by certified music therapists, provides not only therapeutic value, but comfort and happiness to those with memory impairment.
Compassionate Care
Residents receive exceptional care and support from our experienced, compassionate team. Our staff interacting with memory care residents are provided Core Dementia Care Training.

Comfort, care, and safety are our top priorities. Clark offers a home-like environment where residents can remain as independent as possible, while also remaining safe, secure and cared for.

Our highly-skilled recreational therapists tap into the interests of residents to inspire meaningful engagement, day in and day out. Our calendar of activities offers countless opportunities for residents to enjoy favorite pastimes and explore new interests.

Located near Cascade and Ada in West Michigan, Clark at Keller Lake offers a serene and natural setting. The community combines the best of both worlds—close to the conveniences of Grand Rapids, yet tucked away allowing residents to enjoy views of Keller Lake and peaceful walking trails. Keller Lake residents enjoy quiet moments connecting with nature, socializing with neighbors and participating in a wide variety of life enrichment activities.
