Welcome Clark Foundation’s newest Board of Trustees!

Virginia “Ginny” Postma

Clark Resident

Ginny was born and raised in Grand Rapids. She and her husband Bob owned a monument business in Newaygo where they lived for over 40 years. They moved to Clark in 2019 after a recommendation from a friend, Thora White. Ginny volunteers for many different projects at Clark and leads the ministry initiative for the Clark Foundation’s Donor Relations Committee. Ginny’s hobbies include photography, biking and playing pickleball.

Chad Sutliffe

Associate Professor, Grand Valley State University

Chad’s expertise on long -term care and his professional background in educational leadership, health care administration and clinical research bring a unique knowledge set to the Clark Foundation. Chad relates well to Clark residents and their families on issues facing today’s seniors. Chad is a Doctoral candidate at Indiana Wesleyan University studying Organizational Leadership.

John Fitzgerald

Senior Account Executive, Gallagher Construction

John and his wife moved to West Michigan in 2014 where he has been active with a number of non-profit organizations. John has been an instrumental member of the Golf Fore Clark committee for three years. His dedication and commitment to Clark’s mission and residents makes him a true asset to the Foundation. John was recently elected as a Council Member for the City of Wyoming.

Mark Custer

Co-Owner and Chief Revenue Officer of Custer, Inc.

Mark and his family have a long history with Clark, and he is eager to carry on that tradition. Mark is a second-generation co-owner and CRO (Chief Revenue Officer) of Custer, Inc., CS Erickson, Century Floor and owner of Worklab, Inc. Mark’s strategic planning, consulting, and business development expertise will lend well to the Clark Foundation. Mark is involved in many non-profit organizations and serves on boards, helping capital campaigns, or connecting with peers within business organizations.

Pat Waring

Community Relations Director, Office of the President, Grand Valley State University

Pat represents the Office of the President and Grand Valley University campuses and communities. She facilitates communication and maintains positive relationships for GVSU and surrounding areas. Pat has a Bachelor of Science in business administration and secondary education degree with a secondary teaching certificate from Western Michigan University. Pat actively supports many non-profit organizations in West Michigan. Pat’s dedication to Clark and her ability to position Clark well in the community makes her a true asset to the Foundation.
