Donna Chase Art Gallery

Where Art and Community Come Together

Our Franklin residents have the pleasure of experiencing curated art every day through our on-site gallery that houses ongoing exhibits.

About the Donna Chase Art Gallery

The Donna Chase Art Gallery was added to the Franklin Campus in 2014. Its namesake, Donna Chase, served on Clark’s Board at the time the Council was started and led the charge to get it operational. She and her husband, Dr. Jack Chase, later became residents of Clark. Following her passing in 2012, Dr. Chase made a donation to help bring the gallery to fruition in honor of his beloved wife. The Chases were friends of many artists and had an extensive personal collection. Today, many of their pieces are displayed throughout Clark for others to enjoy.

Some of our residents are heavily involved with our art gallery and serve on our Arts Council, which was formed in 1991 to curate engaging and inspiring art experiences for our Franklin residents.

The Clark Arts Council

The Clark Arts Council was formed in 1991 at the request of former Clark CEO Bob Perl. At the time, people moving to Clark brought with them many fantastic original pieces of art worthy of sharing with the community. Rather than haphazardly displaying the works, the Arts Council was formed to curate art in community spaces throughout both campuses. The Council still oversees this work today. They also run the Donna Chase Art Gallery, plan and host artist receptions, and maintain Clark’s art collection. The Clark Arts Council is made up of residents and community volunteers passionate about art in all of its forms.
