Windsor Manor offers assisted living in a serene, natural setting featuring large decks overlooking beautiful Keller Lake. Oxford Manor at Keller Lake offers specialized services for residents in need of memory care. Oxford Manor features two households, those with early dementia who reside in Oxford East, while residents with more progressed dementia live in the secure neighbor of Oxford West.
Clark is a leader in Memory Care with innovative programming and training. Memory Care at Keller Lake focuses on what is possible with a core philosophy of compassion. Clark is the first life-plan community in the United States to adopt the Montessori for Aging and Dementia program. Led by certified Montessori practitioners, who empower residents with memory loss to lead independent and purposeful lives through meaningful routines, activities based on interest, and an environment with memory cues and supports.
An integral part of the lives of memory care residents at Keller Lake is our Music Therapy program. Led by certified music therapists, music therapy provides not only therapeutic value, but comfort and happiness to those with memory impairment. Residents participate in group activities and also have individualized one-on-one sessions.
All Clark staff who interact with memory care residents are provided Core Dementia Care Training, this includes not only our nurses and caregivers, but our housekeeping, dining and administrative staff. This evidence based and person-focused training is centered around enhancing the well-being of residents while also reducing stress for caregivers.
