Community is an integral part of life at Clark. Our gathering spaces and communal dining experiences foster relationship-building conversations. Likewise, our life-enriching activities provide ways for residents to socialize and meet people with common interests. Community is core in everything we do and Clark is a community where neighbors feel like family.
Clark’s emphasis on community and the importance of preventing social isolation is paramount to how we minimize the impact of social distancing during the pandemic. At the onset of COVID-19, Clark immediately launched a COVID-19 Task Force to collaborate on how to protect our residents’ and staff’s physical health and mental health. We offer video technology so residents can chat with loved ones. Zoom meetings allow residents to continue to enjoy time with their neighbors, meet with our spiritual care team, and host book and Bible studies. The Clark team finds innovative ways to keep residents connected and engaged even in the midst of challenging times.
