KELLER LAKE UPDATE:

We’ve Weathered the Storm
Over the past several weeks, COVID-19 has had a significant impact on our residents, families and staff. The resilience shown is inspiring and admirable.

Guidance from the CDC, WHO, MDHHS, and Mercy Health ID specialists continues to change as more scientific data becomes available.  Determining when someone is no longer COVID-19 positive was originally dependent on two (2) negative COVID-19 tests during a prescribed timeframe. Guidance now states a COVID-19 positive person can be released from transmission-based precautions (isolation) after a thirty-day isolation period and presents with no symptoms, even if the person still tests positive for COVID-19. In both situations, a written physician order is required to end isolation.

We are through the storm and pleased to report as of July 11, 2020, Windsor and Oxford Manors will be COVID-19 free. Windsor and Oxford residents who were displaced are back in their original home and we no longer have a designated COVID-19 area.

Again, we thank you for your continued patience and understanding during this difficult time and look forward to resuming life in our COVID-19 free Manors.
