Clark Retirement is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing. This candidate will provide support to the Executive Director and lead a team of Nurses and Nurse Aides in our Keller Center Skilled Nursing department.  This is a great opportunity to lead a 39 bed unit with exceptionally skilled staff who prioritize person-centered care and hospitality for our residents.  This LTC opportunity does not include any rehab accommodations.

Job Responsibilities:

This position requires extensive knowledge of compliance and safety regulations for both residents and staff.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Interviewing and making hiring decisions about incoming applicants
  • Coaching and nurturing staff to better their education, skillset, and decision making
  • Own QAPI and all other State of Michigan nursing home survey requirements
  • Foster a person-centered care approach for residents
  • Lead while promoting the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Host and collaborate with other leaders to educate and share expertise
  • Write or revise policies and procedures based on current and upcoming trends and changes in the industry


Candidates with BSN degrees and experience are encourage to apply. Candidates are required to hold an active State of Michigan nursing license.

Candidates with an Administrators license are preferred but not required. Candidates with experience and knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation related to the novel Coronavirus are preferred.
