Clark Retirement Community is currently in search of an Environmental Services Coordinator to support the Environmental Services Supervisor in ensuring the Housekeeping and Laundry teams are properly trained and meeting all state and federal guidelines to keep Clark looking its best! This role is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside the Housekeeping and Laundry staff while they work to give both the Clark Staff and Residents a clean environment to work and live in.

  • Coordinates resources to ensure the environment is clean at all times.
  • Maintains positive communication with residents & staff.
  • Along with team, ensures all Housekeeping / Laundry supplies are stocked, and equipment needed is operable.
  • Is able to operate all laundry and floor care equipment correctly and transfer that knowledge.
  • Ensures that linen and resident clothing are laundered to our standard.
  • Inspects exterior / interior contracted cleaning and pest control services.
  • Supports the maintenance of facility environments in a “survey ready” condition.
  • Helps assists in vendor records and equipment information.
  • Supports staffing needs of the department and may participate in interviewing process.
  • Worxhub on-site management
  • Serves on, participates in and attends various committees.
  • Participates in “Weekend / After Hour” rotation for housekeeping and safety
  • Assist Director of Environmental Services and Safety with safety checks
  • Back up Safety Coordinator
  • Performs a variety of duties and repairs in and around the building and grounds
  • Makes minor repairs to buildings
  • Audits on sharps containers and hoppers


  • Highschool Diploma or GED required
  • Five of more years of work experience; two or more years of Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of housekeeping, laundry, and floor care processes and equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
