It’s no secret that Clark wishes to attract, educate, and retain the most competent employees in West Michigan. In addition to a welcome environment, job training, and other perks, Clark’s Tuition Reimbursement Program allows employees to acquire a degree while working at Clark. This program helps individuals achieve their academic goals in shorter amounts of time, without financial stress.
Danielle Barense works as a Human Resource Specialist at Clark and is currently participating in the Tuition Reimbursement Program. She is studying Human Resources Management at Indiana Wesley University and hopes to further her Human Resources career here.
Danielle certainly appreciates the program – from the simple application process to the requirements and expectations of the program. Danielle shared that this financial aid has lessened her stress – enabling her to concentrate on classes rather than worrying about money. She is proud that she will get her degree while working full time along with the added responsibilities of being a wife and mother.
And now, as part of her HR job, Danielle promotes the Employee Education Program to all new employees during orientation. Her professional and personal growth empower other Clark staff and help fulfill Clark’s mission of creating communities of dignity, compassion and respect centered on the lives of older adults and those who care for them.
